Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death of Mr. Joe Calvin Danley, age 27, of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Joe Calvin Danley was born in Needles, California, on July 3, 1985. We moved to Washington State where he spent most of his life. He moved to Georgia about a year ago where his father lives, and where he met his companion. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and best friend. He loved life. Joe loved to go fishing, camping, and swimming, and just loved being outdoors - especially hanging out with family.
Joe will be greatly missed by all his family and friends: especially missed by his mother, Wanda Danley; father, John Danley; brother, Donald VanOcker, Jr.; grandmother Dorothy Danley; nephew and niece Donald VanOcker, III and Madisen VanOcker; his companion Tina Hays; step-daughters, Heather and Hanna White.
Services will be held at a later date.
