Joe Marshall Coenen, 73 years old of Morganton, GA, passed away Monday, October 05, 2009. He was born in Montgomery, AL, on August 03, 1936 to Eugene and Amy Jones Coenen. Coenen graduated from Fletcher High School in 1954 of Jacksonville Beach, Fl. He was a Marine Corps. veteran and worked as a Cable Repairman for Bell South for 42 years.
Surviving are wife, Paula Coenen of Morganton, GA., daughter, Carol Spaulding of Bushnell, Fl., daughter & son-in-law, Amy & Chad Hood of Gainesville, Fl., daughter, Nancy Coenen of Jacksonville, Fl., son, Brian Milstead also of Jacksonville, Fl., 4 grandchildren; Carter Milstead, Kody Milstead, Alex Hood & Ella Hood. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene & Amy Coenen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Jacksonville, Fl. Family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made In Memory of Joe Coenen to the Humane Society or the American Lung Association.
