John Edward Peeling

John Edward Peeling, age 76 of Murphy, NC and Gainesville, FL passed away September 9, 2015 at his Murphy residence. Mr. Peeling was born June 25, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Francis Peeling and the late Mary Roche Peeling. John was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Murphy and had been a seasonal resident of Murphy since 1978. Mr. Peeling was a United States Navy Veteran.

Survivors include: wife, Maureen Peeling of Murphy, son, John T. (Lynn) Peeling of Sanford, FL, son, Robert (Jody) Peeling of Gainesville, FL, daughter, Kathleen (Richard) Sharp of Miramar, FL, daughter, Elizabeth (Christopher) Evans of Port St. Lucie, FL, daughter, Mary (Scott) Vegotsky of Coral Springs, FL, and Brothers, Dennis Peeling of Eastport, NY and Robert Peeling of Myrtle Beach, FL, 7 grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date at St. William Catholic Church.
