John Harvey Gregory

Mr. John Harvey Gregory, age 72 of Murphy, NC, passed away at Mission Hospital Monday, July 20, 2009. Mr. Gregory was born in Andrews, NC, to John & Mary Jane Gregory on August 28,1936. He was preceded in death by father, John Nelson Gregory, mother, Mary Jane Mulkey Gregory.

Survivors include: wife, Madeline Gregory, daughter & son-in-law, Tonya & Tim Taylor of Morristown, TN., daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Clifton Dills of Murphy, NC, brother, Michael Gregory of Andrews, NC, 3 grandchildren; Holly Taylor, Austin Dills & Jared Dills.

Funeral services will be held at Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, NC on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 at 6:00pm with the Rev. Harold Stiles officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 23rd, 2009 from 4:00pm-6:00pm
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Smoky Mountain Dialysis Center, Patient Emergency Fund 1611 Andrews Road, Murphy, NC. 28906.
