Mr. Johnny E. Stewart, age 73 of Chatsworth, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Murray Medical Center. Mr. Stewart was born Monday, February 25, 1935 in Fannin Co., GA to the late John Anderson Stewart and the late Myrtle Cochran. He was preceded in death by daughter, Alicia Satterfield of McCaysville, Ga..

Survivors include: son, Bobby Stewart of Chatsworth, Ga, son, James Stewart of Dalton, Ga, son, Mitchell Stewart of Savannah, Ga, daughter, Kimberly Soroka of St. Augustine, Fla, daughter, Glenda Sanford of Resaca, Ga, brother, Norman Stewart of Morganton, Ga, brother, Harold Stewart of Chatsworth, Ga, brother, Winston Stewart of Morganton, Ga, sister, Ethel Allen of Hemptown, Ga, sister, Effie Free of Morganton, Ga, sister, Glee Wright of Cleveland, Tn, sister, Esilee Stewart of Alcoa, Tn, sister, Thelma Jean Davenport of Tifton, Ga, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday 1/9/2009 at 2:00 P.M. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Hyatt, Rev. Jimmy Holsonback officiating. Music will be provided by Caylor Family. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Clarence Wright, Quinton Davenport, Ray Wright, Calvin Free, Shan Hinton, Butch Rittenhouse.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 08, 2009 from 4:00PM to 9:00PM .
