Joseph Rice

Joseph Rice, age 40 of Morganton, GA passed away October 19, 2021, in Jasper, GA. Mr. Rice was born September 4, 1981, in Munster, IN to the late Cora Rice. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Phyllis Maxine Rice. Joseph loved to talk on the phone and enjoyed working, gardening, fishing, singing, drawing, and grilling food.

Survivors include: partner, Amy Taunton, sons, Hunter Davis and Mason Rice, brother, Tommy Frias, and niece, Corissa Frias.

Graveside services: Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 3:00 pm at the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery, Morganton, GA. with the Rev. Grayson Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tommy Frias, Adrian Mendoza, Nathan Dale, Phillip Thomas, Kurt Whitaker, and Travis Lawson.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, October 22, 2021, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm & Saturday, October 23, 2021, 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
