Joyce Place

Joyce Place, age 81 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Place was born December 14, 1938, in St. Paul, MN to the late George Haedrich and the late Irene Hime Haedrich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ernest Place, and extended family member, Alex Cuervo. She was a member of the Blue Ridge First Baptist Quilting Bee's and volunteered with the Fannin County Empty Stocking Program. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and Gigi. She will be missed by all of her loving family.

Survivors include: daughter, Denise Place, son, Robert (Adrianna) Place, grandchild, Brittany (Joshua) Mashburn, great-grandchildren, Robert Jacob Place and Joshua Ernest Mashburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fannin County Empty Stocking Program.
