June Elaine Brown, age 69, of McCaysville, passed away at her home Monday, August 20, 2018. Mrs. Brown was born June 5, 1949, to the late Jack Headen and the late Evelyn Boggs. She was a lifelong resident of McCaysville and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She enjoyed music and loved Christmas time. In addition to her mother and father, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her son, Michel Withrow, daughter, Diane Queen, and granddaughter, Rozanna June Kendall.
Survivors include her husband, William H. Brown, Jr., daughters, Kulua Jordan, Josette A. Epple, and Lane Brown, son, Scott Brown, brother, Ernest Headen, granddaughters, April Deal, Jazmine Hudson, Amanda Queen, Kiersten Murray, and Nevaeh Smith, grandsons, Michel Smith, Jacob Epple, Justin Epple, Jesse Epple, Jonas Epple, and J.D. Murray, 13 great-grandchildren, and her beloved K-9 companion, Spot.
Funeral Services: Thursday, August 23, 2018, Mrs. Brown will lie instate in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Justin Epple, Jesse Epple, Kenny Epple, Tracy Jordan, and Britton Quintrell. Up
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, August 22, 2018, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home.
