June 6, 1937 — October 28, 2011

June Nesbitt McGee Dalton, age 74 of Turtletown, passed away October 28, 2011 at the Copper Basin Medical Center after a lengthy illness. June Nesbitt was born June 6, 1937 in Ducktown, TN to the late John E. and Eva Mae Harris McGee. She was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church where she and her husband Raymond Dalton were married, and also where she was baptized. June Nesbitt and Raymond lived and raised their children in Conroe, TX for 45 yrs before moving back to the Polk County area 10 years ago. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters, Lunnas McGee, Gerald McGee, Winfred McGee, Olen McGee, Edith McGee Brown, Kenneth McGee, Joe McGee, Bobby McGee and Eva McGee Fernandez.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Raymond Dalton, daughter, Becky Dalton Evans and Husband Brian of Houston, TX, son, Timothy Dalton of Nashville, TN, son, Raymond Dalton Jr. and wife Roberta of Nashville, TN, sister, Janice McGee Waters, sister, Wilma McGee Ketter, granddaughter, Caitlin Evans and granddaughter, Gabrielle Dalton. Also many nieces, nephews and friends survive. June Nesbitt was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for June Nesbitt will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Keith Smith and Pastor Joe Alan McGee officiating.
