Katherine Chance

Katherine Chance, age 69, of Hayesville, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Chance was born October 13, 1951, in Warne, NC to the late Fonzey Coffey and the late Inez Mann Coffey. Katherine enjoyed crafting and working with her flowers and especially loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, brothers, Bobby Dean Coffey and Billy Coffey, and her infant sister, Hanna Coffey.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Austin) West, sons, Joey (Janie) Graper, Robbie (Angie) Graper, and James (Carrie) Chance, brother, Lloyd (Susan) Coffey, sisters, Bonnie Cable and Susie (Don) Anderson. Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM with Dr. Tom Jordon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
