Kay Jones

Kay M. Jones, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017. She was born in Greenfield, Ohio to Dr. William and Marjorie Counter. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kay is survived by her partner in Life, Shirley Krogstad, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia; her brother, Richard Counter (Lynn) of Greenfield, Ohio; her three children, Angela Yoder (Wesley), Lisa Ketner (Monty) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Christopher Carman, of Cathedral City, California, and one grandchild, Kelsey Yoder, of Plain City, Ohio. She also has one niece, Delinda Bonkosky (Andrew), of Pinckney, Michigan, and Scott Counter (Mercedes) of Dublin, Ohio.
Kay was a realtor at Tru Mountain Realty, in Blue Ridge, and loved helping people find the house of their dreams. She was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and lived for football season. Her dog and two cats were like children to her.
