Kenley Eddie Garrison

Kenley Eddie Garrison, age 73 of Mineral Bluff, passed away March 31, 2012 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Mr. Garrison was born September 8, 1938 in Akron, OH to the late Amos and Edith Richards Garrison. A member of Damascus Baptist Church in Epworth, he was preceded in death by son, Donald Eddie Garrison and brother, Billy Garrison.
Survivors include: wife, Shirley Newberry Garrison, son, Rodney Garrison, son, Tim Garrison, daughter, Theresa Garrison, son, Barry Mealer, daughter, Bobbie Jones, son, Billy Mealer, brother, Don Garrison, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church. Pallbearers include Gilliam Farmer, Philip Farmer, Steve Huffman, Eddie Garrison, Winston Callihan and Dereck Callihan. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Callihan, Daniel Ray, Eleand Jones and Hollis Newberry.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, April 03, 2012 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
