Mr. Kenneth Edward Tarbell, age 70 of Murphy, NC, passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at Murphy Medical Center.
Mr. Tarbell was born Thursday, July 28, 1938 in Earlville, NY to the late Henry Edward and Hazel Mae Crandall Tarbell. Mr. Tarbell was a member of North Broad St. United Methodist Church. He was a U S Army Veteran and a Scout Leader. He moved to this area 15 years ago from Norwich, NY. Mr. Tarbell was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Tarbell.
Survivors include: wife, Mary Tarbell of Murphy, NC, daughter & son-in-law, Korina & Dr. Burt Banks of Bristol, VA, sister, Patricia Empie of Arcade, NY, brother, Harold Tarbell of Arcade, NY, brother, Paul Tarbell of Johnson City, NY, grandchildren, Trenton Banks, Skylar Banks, Tanner Banks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 21.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to American Heart Association.
