Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death of Kristi Leigh Cornwell, age 38, of Blairsville.
Kristi was born in Hiawassee, Georgia, on December 20, 1970, and was lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Crossover Community Church in Blue Ridge, and was active in Missions at her church. Kristi was a board member for The Wilderness Scouts of America for several years.
She will be missed by everyone who knew her - especially by her mother, Jo Ann Cornwell, of Blairsville; her father, Harold L. Cornwell, of Blairsville; a son, Brody Brackett, of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Karen Cornwell, of Knoxville, Tennessee; two nieces: Amelia Cornwell and Isabella Griffis; and nephew, Conner Griffis; many other relatives and friends also survive.
There will be a private family funeral to be scheduled at a later date.
