Laura Cora Bisenius

Laura Cora Bisenius, age 94 of Hiawassee, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Copper Basin Medical Center in Ducktown, TN. Mrs. Bisenius was born July 15, 1918 in West Edmeston, NY to Adelbert and Mabel Moore. She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Bisenius and eldest son, Ralph Bisenius Jr.
Mrs. Bisenius was the director of the Towns County Humane Society for 14 years. She was also a registered nurse for the majority of her career and received her GED in Hiawassee at the young age of 81.

Survivors include: son and daughter in law, Mark Carl and Josie Bisenius of Andover, MN, son, Brian Bisenius of Hiawassee, GA, daughter-in-law, Nancy Bisenius, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be: Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens, Ken Fuller will be speaking.
