Mrs. Lemma (Lynn) Virginia Richards, age 79 of Rome, passed away January 9, 2013 at Winthrop Manor Health & Rehab., Rome, GA. Mrs. Richards was born August 13, 1933 in Dial, GA to the late Thomas Panter and Emily Elizabeth Long Panter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen "Kathy" Frasure..
Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth Diane (Frank) Marchetta, daughter & and son-in-law, Sandra (Frank) Mascia, son & daughter-in-law, Ray (Judy) Frasure, daughter, Sheila Marie Dicky, daughter, Donna S. Stephens,16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Richards was a seamstress for the Arrow Shirt Company for many years. She lived in Blairsville and Blue Ridge until 2009 when she moved Whinthrop Manor in Rome GA.
Funeral services: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Henry-Cochran Funeral Chapel of Blue Ridge, GA. with the Rev Thomas Panter officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Floyd Heyman Hospice Care.
