Leona W. Hensley

Mrs. Leona W Hensley, age 87 of Mineral Bluff, GA, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 01st at Copper Basin Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Hensley was born in Graham County, NC to George and Pauline Riddley Waldrup. She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Pauline Waldrup, husband, Ronald Hensley, son, Verl Hensley, granddaughters; Shery Colberson, Jill Marie Hawkins & Ronda Bell, grandsons; Danny Ray Millsap, Ronnie Bell & Jamie Bell. She was also preceded by 5 brothers & 5 sisters.

Survivors include: daughter, Inez Almond, daughter & son in law, Ruth Ann & Ben Hawkins, daughter & son in law, Wanda & Hermon Bell, 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchild and a host of friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 2nd & Thursday, June 3rd from 3:00-9:00pm at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 4th at 2:00pm in the Henry COchran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Clore & Rev. Herman Bell officiating. Music will be provided by: Heavans Glory and Tammy Caylor. The Interment will follow in the Hensley Family Cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Hensley will be; Kevin Hawkins, Jamie Hensley, Anthony Stonecipher, Phillip Barker, Kennie Payne & Ronnie Bell. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be; Denis Nicholson, Brandon Nicholson, Dustin Nicholson, Alex Bell, Homer Milsap, Mike Holloway, Randy & Rickie Hensley, Bob & Clif Hawkins, Christopher Moore, Phillip Padgent, Gary Holloway, Seth & Stanley Dockery, Madison Pressley, Derick Allen, T J Fair, Brian Ross & Billy Dockery.
