Leonard T. Gibson

The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Funeral Services for Mr. Leonard T. Gibson, age 82 of Hiawassee, who passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015.

He will be warmly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: sons & daughter-in-laws, Rev. Stanley & Catherine Gibson, Charles & Joann Gibson and Steve & Jennie Gibson; daughter & son-in-law, Janice & Don Crisp; and sister, Thelma McClure. Also sharing in his legacy are grandchildren, Doug Gibson, Lindsay Sharrock, Avery Gibson, Harlan Gibson, Matt Crisp, Justin Sampson, Nathan Sampson and Shane Gibson; and great grandchildren, Sydney Sharrock, Rebecca Gibson, Jaydrien Gibson and Peyton Gibson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 4:00 pm from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. David Berrong officiating. Special Music will be presented by the Hunter Family. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Doug Gibson, Matt Crisp, Justin Sampson, Ronnie Maxwell, Randy McClure & Doug Smith. Honorary Pallbearer will include Harlan Gibson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the service begins.
