Linda Gail Long

Linda Gail Long, age 76, of Statesboro, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in Statesboro, GA. Mrs. Long was born May 9, 1945, in Blue Ridge, GA to the late Wayne Davenport and the late Thelma Stanley Davenport. A member of the Church of Christ in Douglasville, GA, she was preceded in death by her children, Shantell Long and Rachel Holm. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, and caring for other people.

Survivors include: husband, Albert Gary Long, sons, Barry (Andrea) Long and Matthew (Michelle) Long; grandchildren, Logan Holm, Lauren Holm, Megan Long, and Robert Shufelt; and great-grandchild, Toni Rae.

Funeral services: Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Interment will follow in Stanley Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, January 6, 2022, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
