Linda Gail Stephens , age 50, of Blairsville, GA passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 from injuries sustained in an autobile accident.
Linda was born on Tuesday, July 7, 1959 in Hiawassee, GA, to Willa Mae Floyd Stephens of Blairsville and the late Mitchell Clay Stephens. She was a member of Fellowship of the Hills.
Survivors in addition to her mother; sister and husband, Gizelle and Steve Thomas of Morganton, GA, sister and husband, Gwyneth and Joe Yaita of Murphy, NC, nephews, Brad Thomas, Justin Thomas and David Murphy, neices, Brittany Thomas, Sleana Cook, Lisa Renbarger and Shirley Bryson, special friend, Danny Murphy and twelve great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by, Scott Lance. Pallbearers will be Brad Thomas, Justin Thomas, Joey Colwell, Mike Patton, Junior Whitener and Jackie Cook. Burial will follow in Anitoch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home Saturday from 5 until 9 PM.
