* IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please note change in service information: The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Funeral Services for Mrs. Lula Mae Parker, age 90 of Suches, Georgia who passed away on Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020.
She will be warmly remembered by all who knew her, but especially missed by her family: daughter & son-in-law, Betty & Jimmy Woody; sister, Effie Blackburn; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, William Hayden Parker; daughter, Delores Stamey; parents, Joe & Isabelle (Harkins) Gregory; and 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening, November 21, 2020 at Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in the CHAPEL OF COCHRAN FUNERAL HOME IN BLAIRSVILLE, with BURIAL at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church #2 "The Hill Church" Cemetery in Suches.
Everyone attending either the visitation and/or the funeral will be asked to strictly follow the COVID guidelines as set forth by Governor Kemp. Please wear a mask and allow 6 feet between others that are not your immediate family members. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
