Mabel Rose Collis

Mrs. Mabel Rose Collis, age 98 of Mineral Bluff, passed away July 29, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Collis was born January 29, 1917 in Ironton, OH to the late George Dewey Steed and the late Sadie Marie Justice Steed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Columus B. Collis, sons, Larry and Robert Patterson and daughter, Betty Sue Chaflan.

Survivors include: sons, Roy Patterson and Danny (Jane Ann) Patterson, brothers Roy and Bob Steed and 6 grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Hot House Baptist Church with the Rev. Harvey Sargeant officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
