Martha E. Mallonee

Mrs. Martha E. Mallonee, age 87 of Murphy, passed away February 7, 2015 at 1660 Hendrix Road. Mrs. Mallonee was born March 25, 1927 in Miami, FL to the late Walter Ewing and the late Jessie Chesser. she was preceded in death by husband, Coy Eugene Mallonee, father, Walter Ewing, mother, Jessie Ewing, sister, Dorothy Akin, and sister, Wilma Holloway.

Martha was born in Miami, FL where she lived, raised a family and worked in the office of the county school system, until retiring to Peachtree.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, David Coy and Denise Mallonee, son and daughter-in-law, Steven Eugene and Jackie Mallonee, sister, Florence Cook, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Funeral services: Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Herb Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial. Pallbearers will include David Coy Mallonee, Dennis Mallonee, Steve Mallonee, Jerry Wilson, Dalton Mallonee and Drew Mallonee.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy from 12:00PM - 2:00PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015
