Marty Jaycard, age 86, of Hiawassee, GA, GA, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009.
Marty was born in New York, NY, to Martin and Rose Jaycard. He was a proud resident of Hiawassee for over 30 years. Marty was a member of the Catholic Faith. He was a WWII US Army Veteran and a member of Boiler Makers Local # 5. Marty was preceded in death by his wife Marie Arrowood Denton Jaycard .
Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Tommy & Louise Jaycard of New York, NY, and daughter, Rose Marie Jaycard of Hiawassee, GA.
Services will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with the Chaplain of the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hills Memory Gardens with Military Honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
