Marvin Joe Patterson

Mr. Marvin Joe Patterson, age 47 of Andrews, passed away September 23, 2015 at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City Beach, FL. Marvin was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Hayesville. He worked in construction on many projects locally.
Marvin also had been active with the Emmaus Community, having gone through the Emmaus Walk.

Survivors include: father and mother, Joe and Verdie Louise Patterson of Marble, wife, Ellen Brown Patterson of Andrews, daughters, Kristi Grant of Andrews, Misti Killian of Blue Ridge, GA, and Candi Kasa of Murphy, step-daughters, Tya Rogers and Chloe Burke, both of Murphy. 5 grandchildren also survive as well as his uncle, Albert Newton.

Funeral services: Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Clark Moss officiating. Music provided by: Bronson Newton the Martin Sisters. Interment will follow in Little Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason Newton, Bronson Newton, Jack Newton, Jerry Cole, Jamie Reynolds, and Michael Newton. Honorary pallbearers: Joe Cole, Michael Kaye, Greg Newton, and Chris Mowery.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Tuesday, September 29, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
