Mrs. Mary Ann Millsaps Collis, age 77, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on April 2, 2018 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA with her family by her side.
Mary Ann was born June 22, 1940 to the late Hamil S. Millsaps and Minnie Lee Patterson Millsaps. She was a lifelong resident of Fannin County and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Rev. Robert "Glenn" Collis, an infant daughter, and her brother, Jimmy Millsaps.
Survivors include son, Joel Collis of Atlanta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Randall Watkins of Blue Ridge, GA; Grandchildren: Jason and Alicia Watkins of Dahlonega, GA; Carrie and Ben Jordan of White, GA; Great Grandchildren: Jenna Watkins, Abigail Jordan, Darcy Jordan, and Luke Watkins; Sister: Ruby (Hubert) Barker of Dallas, GA; Brothers: Hamil Millsaps, Jr of DeKalb, MS; Johnny (Jo) Millsaps of Cherry Log, GA; Jerry (Earlene) Millsaps of Ellijay, GA; and Jessie (Brenda) Millsaps of Blue Ridge, GA.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Cantrell, and Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Music will be provided by Susan Shook, Jeff and Terri Nunnally. Interment will follow in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers: Jason Watkins, Ben Jordan, Morris Callihan, John Chastain, Gerald Williamson, and Cory Callihan.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
