Mary Frances Hensley

Mrs. Mary Frances Hensley, age 93 of Morganton, passed away April 5, 2014 in Ashville, NC. Mrs. Hensley was born January 12, 1921 in Fruitvale Tenn., to the late James Buchanan Hayes and the late Bessie Mae Williams Hayes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. She was preceded in death by father, James Buchanan Hayes, mother, Bessie Mae Williams Hayes.

Survivors include: spouse, Elven Delano Hensley, daughter, Flora Kay Hensley & Steve Harbin, daughter, Donna Lynn Hensley & James Petrides, daughter, Barbara Jean Hensley & Terry Terrell, son & daughter-in-law, George Buchanan & Debra Bryant Hensley, brother, James Buchanan Hayes, Jr., brother, Maurice Alfred Hayes, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services: Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Morganton Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Friday, April 11, 2014 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
