Mrs. Mary Hardin, age 65 of Hayesville, NC, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
She was born December 3, 1944 in Alexander City, AL, the daughter of Earl and Vaddie Terrell Fuller. Mrs. Hardin had been a resident of Clay County since 1989 when she moved here from Gastonia, NC. She attended the Fires Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are: daughter and son-in-law, Anna and MichaelMcCray of Hayesville, NC, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Michael Cameret of Cumming, GA, daughter, Dorothy McLeod of Valdosta, GA, son, Craig Stamps, also of Valdosta, daughter, Kellie Roach and Matt of Columbus, OH, daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Steve Watkins of Leesburg, GA, daughter, Juanita Hardin of Carrollton, GA and sister, Mavis Cravey of Cairo, GA. 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hardin Jr.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2010 from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with Rev. Dallas Crowder officiating. Interment will follow in the Fires Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Tony Lands, Benny Kirby, James Brown, Ben Staton, Ray Ware and Everett McCray.
Friends will be received Sunday, March 21, 2010 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the at the Cochran Funeral Home, Murphy, NC.
