Mary Jemjemian Montecalvo
Miss Mary Montecalvo , age 73 of McCaysville, GA passed away April 17, 2016 at the Hospice Center of Chattanooga, TN. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Mary was the daughter of the late Dick H. Jemjemian and Ethel M. Lassiter. In her younger years Mary owned and operated an Italian Restaurant by the name of Buccis. She made the best authentic Italian lasagna and sauce among a host of other dishes. She was a member of Kingtown Baptist Church. Mary loved the Lord and Her Church Family with all of her heart and she will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter Donna A. West and her granddaughter Jennifer Nicole West.
Survivors include 2 sons Norman and David West of Lantana, TX; grandson Warren F. West of Knoxville, TN; great granddaughter Jaida Mary West of Knoxville, TN; sister Linda F. Grimes and brother Joseph L. Grimes of Richmond, VA; nephew Aaron Jemjemian of Richmond, VA; special friends and caregivers Erica McMillian of Ducktown, TN; and Dora Cantrell of Tumbling Creek, TN; and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Kingtown Baptist Church 257 N Church St. McCaysville, GA 30555 on Sunday May 1, 2016 at 11am with Rev. Dr, Gary Parris officiating. Music will be provided by the Kingtown Trio consisting of Mary Jo Towe, Nicole Davenport, and Abby Stewart. Pallbearers will be Bryan McMillian, Travis Davenport, Michael Buchanan, Matt Sandefur, Robert German, Hoppy Hopkins, and Robert Thomas. Mary's wishes were that any Memorial contributions be made to Kingtown Baptist Church Children and Youth fund P.O. Box 400 McCaysville, GA 30555 C/O Connie Grindstaff.
