Mrs. Maxine German Rucker, age 80, of Mc Caysville, GA passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009 at her residence.
Maxine was born on September 16, 1929 in Fannin County, GA, to the late Norman and Maggie Adams German. She was a member of Kingtown Baptist Church was preceded in death by husband, Roy Rucker, daughter, Phyllis Ann Ledford, sister, Bertha Waters, brothers, Ed German hoyt German, Hobert German, and Norman German.
Survivors include: daughter, Kay Teems of Ellijay, GA, sisters, Helen McAbee of Benton, TN, Nancy Cowart of McCaysville, GA and Charlotte Cook of McCaysville, GA, brothers, James German of Charleston, TN, Bobby German of McCaysville, GA and Charles German of Dahloenga, GA, granddaughters, Ronda Byers and Allison Teems, grandson, Joseph Ledford, three great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest German and Rev. Gary Parris officiating. Burial will follow in Copper Ridge Cemetery.
The family will recive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home Monday, December 7, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
