Michelle Alava, age 51 of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Alava was born October 20, 1968, to the late Nicholas Melfi and the late Mary Jones Melfi. She retired from the Palm Beach Sheriff"s Department after 26 years of service and enjoyed horseback riding, walking on the beach, hiking, canoeing, photography, and the outdoors. She will be dearly missed by her entire loving family.
Survivors include: husband, Angel Alava, sister, Sherri Gervais, brother, Rick (Sue) Jones, nephews, Andre, Derrek, and Jeremy Gervais, and her adorable dog, Georgia.
