Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces funeral services for Mr. Mitchell Anthony Ellis, age 38, of Hayesville, NC, who passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.
Mitchell was born in Atlanta, GA on November 6, 1978, a son of Anthony Edward Ellis and Rhonda Sue Moss Ellis. Mitchell had lived in Hayesville for the past 20 years, moving there from Canton, GA. He was a loving son and father of four children, a good husband and brother.
Mitchell will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but especially by his surviving family members: wife, Amanda Ellis, and their four children: Caleb, Brenson, Adam, and Layla, all of Hayesville; mother and step-father, Rhonda and Greg Hester, of Ballground, GA; father and step-mother, Anthony and Vikki Ellis of Hayesville; sister, Tia Hester, of Ballground; grandmother, Barbara Townson, and grandfather, Edward Ellis, both of Hayesville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at 12 noon, to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee. The family will meet with friends beginning at 11 am, for one hour prior to the funeral services.
