Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death of Niota Ann Nation, age 62, who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her home.
Niota was born in Young Harris, Georgia, on May 25, 1953, a daughter of Anne Rose Bradshaw Nation and the late J.T. Nation. Besides her father, she had been preceded in death by two brothers, Denver and Roy Nation. Niota loved nature - she loved to walk and she loved flowers and gardening. She was kind, always willing to help anyone in need.
Surviving family members include her mother, Anne Rose Bradshaw Nation; and a brother, Warren Nation, both of Hiawassee.
