Mrs. Peggy Ann Grisham, daughter of Harvey and Barbara Ellen Warren Paulsell, was born August 5, 1933, in Rolla, Missouri. Peggy passed away on April 28, 2012 in the Sunshine Manor of Jasper, GA.

She was united in marriage to Merle Grisham on May 17, 1952, at the First Presbyterian Church in Rolla, Missouri.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, a brother, Robert E. Paulsell and family of Tremont, Illinois. She is also survived by three children and four grandchildren.
Peggy dearly loved her family. The first child, a son, Tad Alan, was born April 14, 1958, in Drexel Hill, PA. Nancy Ellen, the second child, was born October 22, 1960, also in Drexel Hill, PA. Ross David, the third child, was born August 15, 1970, in Decatur, GA. Peggy's grandchildren are Mathew Grisham of Atlanta, Davis Grisham of Orlando, Fl, Taylor Jackson of McDonough, GA, and Casey Jackson of Athens, GA.

The many moves and the hardship of relocating were brought about through her husband's railroad career. When the family moved to Georgia in the late 1960's Peggy took a secretarial job in the Georgia State Senate, a job she seemed to have been in training for since high school.

Peggy had graduated from high school as the valedictorian of her class at age sixteen. She had worked as a secretary to the local district attorney. She declined a scholarship at Southern Methodist to care for her ailing father, then attended business school where she met her husband to be.

In later years at the Georgia State Senate., she worked as a secretary and later became an Administrative Assistant. The politics surrounding the State Senate was most interesting to Peggy.

Peggy's children and her family life brought her the greatest joy. Her religion and church participation began in the early stages of her life in the Christian church. She enjoyed teaching children's Sunday school classes at the First Christian Church in Donelson, Tenn. and chapel Woods Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA.

Writing, reading, sewing and knitting were Peggy's most enjoyable hobbies.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
