Ralph S. Johns

Mr. Ralph Samuel Johns, age 86 of Conley, GA passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 in Concord, GA. Ralph was born in Etowah, Tennessee on July 8, 1930. He was the third born of 11 children to Alfred Leo and Stella Lucille Johns.

He is survived by Joyce, his loving wife of 60 years, along with three children: Steve (wife:Bobbie), Wendy (husband:Billy), and Terri (husband:Fred). Five grandchildren: Matt, Katie, Abbey, Kelli, and Jackie; and one great grandchild: Avah. He is also survived by two sisters: Louise Hollis, Margaret Connors, and one brother, Terry Johns.

Ralph worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 38 years in 1997. Ralph and Joyce were members an attended Tanners Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Union Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Jim Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville Wednesday 11:00 am - 1:45 pm.
