Raymond Douglas Puett

Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces memorial services for Raymond Douglas Puett, 76, of Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in Pruitt Healthcare in Toccoa.
Mr. Puett was born in Towns County, Georgia, on August 21, 1939, a son of the late James McKinley Puett and Mary Leona Jackson Puett. He was a carpenter by trade, and had lived most of his life in this area.
Surviving family members include a brother, Bill Puett, of Knoxville, Tennessee; sisters, Sue Greene, of Clarkesville, Georgia and Vada Hyten, of Pontiac, Michigan; and sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Roger Garrett, of Murphy, North Carolina; Twenty-nine nieces and nephews, and fifty great nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., to be held at Old Brasstown Baptist Church. Following the service, inurnment will be in the church cemetery.
If you wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Brasstown Baptist Church Cemetery.
