Richard Lee Parr

Mr. Richard Lee Parr, age 62 of Mineral Bluff, passed away September 6, 2014 at his home. Mr. Parr was born in Deland, FL to the late Mr. Hubert L. Parr and the late Mary Alleen Lundy Parr.

Mr. Parr was warehouse superintendent with Publix Grocery Stores in Jacksonville FL for 30 years before moving to Mineral Bluff, GA.

Mr. Parr is survived by his wife, Mary Wright, a son, Matthew Parr (Elaine), step-son, Thomas Carroll (Amy), sister, Karen Smith, brother, Stephen Parr 3 grandchildren, Ethan Parr, Ella & Lilly Carroll, & 3 nephews, David, James and Randy Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL, Hobson Auditorium with the Rev. Ray Mayfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens of Jacksonville, FL.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to John MaArthur and Grace to You Ministries (gty.org).
