Robert Hugh Sullivan

Mr. Robert Hugh Sullivan, age 90 of McCaysville, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Sullivan was born January 19, 1925 in McCaysville, GA to the late Robert Lee Sullivan and the late Dessie Nichols Sullivan. Robert was a member of the United Methodist Church of Copperhill. He earned his Bachelors degree in Chemistry at the University of Georgia and worked for many years as a chemist for the TN Copper Company. He enlisted in the Navy and served his country during WWII. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include loving wife, Dorothy "Dot" Kisselburg Sullivan, daughter, Luanne Sullivan, son, Patrick Sullivan, and one brother, William Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Pastor David Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bill Sullivan, Jr., Marvin Newman, Ben Newman, Jonathan Hooper, Kent Kisselburg, Winston Chambers, Richard Kimsey, and Jim Zimmerman. Honorary Pallbearers are Forrest Neely, Tommy Quintrell, Edsel Deal, Buck Welch, Sammy Rymer, Charles Abernathy, and Chris Calloway.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting Thursday morning at 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.
