Robert John Greene

Mr. Robert John Greene, age 87 of McCaysville, GA passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Hayesville House in Hayseville, NC. Mr. Greene was born August 12, 1928 in Greenfield, MA to the late John Greene and the late Grace Facey Greene. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Greenfield, MA and worked as a heavy equipment operator for various states throughout New England. He served his country enlisting in the U.S. Army and specializing in missile ordnance. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed playing golf, riding his tractors and maintaining his lawn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Barry Alan "Butch" Greene.

Survivors include loving wife, Phyllis Cadran Greene, daughter, Karen and her husband Mike Cashatt of Bell, FL, son, Harold and his wife Linda Greene of Sitka, AK, brother, Richard and his wife Theresa Greene of Gill, MA, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and three step-children, Deborah, Laurie, and Kathy.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Hinsdale, NH.
