Robert Tramel, age 76 of Murphy, passed away September 26, 2011 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Mr. Tramel was born October 4, 1934 in Fannin, GA to the late Carl Tramel and the late Nattie Brookman . A member of Culberson Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by father, Carl Tramel, mother, Nettie Tramel, sister Pearl Stephens and brother Leonard Tramel.
Survivors include: sister, Irene Newsome, Brother, Manard Tramel, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place at 1:00PM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jim Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
