Ruby Belle Martin, age 83 of Copperhill, TN, passed away Friday morning at the Hospice Care of Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Martin was born May 24, 1927, in Blairsville, GA, to Arthur & Inkabo Grant Henderson.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Martin.
Survivors include: daughter, Sylvia Jean Austin, son & wife, James Robert & Tina Martin, daughter, Carolyn Bray, daughter, Patricia Lynn Parrish, granddaughter, Robin Martin, granddaughter, Misty Calhoun, granddaughter, Heather Poole, granddaughter, Whitney Martin, grandson, Cale Crowder, grandson, Ben Parrish, grandson, Collin Parrish, five great-grandchildren, brother, Wayne Henderson of Blairsville, GA, sister, Pauline Young of Blairsville, GA nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends in her community.
Funeral services: Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Postell, TN, on Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 2:00 p.m with Rev. Frank Fisher officiating. Church choir will provide the music. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Martin will be instate at the church by 1:30 Sunday.
The family will meet with family and friends on Saturday night from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Chattanooga or Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Postell, TN.
