Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death of Mrs. Ruth Estella Walton Forster, age 95, of Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 in Macon Valley Nursing Home in Franklin, North Carolina.
Mrs. Forster was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on February 17, 1919, a daughter of the late Victor Walton and the late Mildred Turnbaugh Walton. She had been preceded in death by her husband, Robert Forster.
Surviving family members include a daughter, Judith A. Turner, of Franklin, North Carolina.
