Stacy Michelle Ward, age 36 of Murphy, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Murphy Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1976 in Swain County, NC to the late Gilmer Dale Ward and Joyce Crisp Ward. She was a member of Little Brasstown Baptist Church, she enjoyed attending I.O.I. for a number of years.
Survivors include: mother, Joyce Ward, Brother, Tony (Christina) Ward, sister, Stephanie (Travis) Cable, Brother, Adam (Wendy) Ward, nephew, Michael Ward, Travis Cable, nieces and nephews, Joey Cable, Nikita Cable, Ciera Ward and Addyson Ward.
Funeral services: Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Ward, Travis Cable and Joey Cable.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Thursday, October 25, 2012 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
The family request that in lieu of flowers that donation my be made to Little Brasstown Baptist Church Home Bound or other Mission Fund P.O. Box 12 Brasstown, NC 28902.
