Sue Ann Smith

Sue Ann Smith, age 74 of Ellijay, passed away December 21, 2015 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Sue Ann Smith was born September 3, 1941 in Lubbock, TX to the late Edward Parks Freeman and the late Gladys T. Hensley Freeman. Sue Ann enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Sue Ann was a retired office manager with UPS in Ellijay, and Seven Day Advances. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Denson.

Survivors include: husband, James D Smith, son's, Russell (Cathy) Henderson and Donald Henderson, daughter, Andrea (David) Porter, step-daughter, Tangie Price, Brother's Gary Lucas and Jimmy Freeman, sister's, Melva Middelman, Nita Browning and 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, December 26, 2015, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
