Tony Rex Davenport

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville announces the death and graveside services for Mr. Tony R. Davenport, age 52, of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away Monday, August 23rd in Charlotte.

Tony was born April 22, 1969, a son of the late Cline and the late Linda Nichols Davenport. He was of the Baptist faith.

Tony is survived by his wife, Donna Smith Davenport, of Jonesboro, Georgia; step daughter, Kelli Screven, of Jonesboro, GA; step son, Brandon Chastine, of Hinesville, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alex and Patty Davenport and Mike and Phalla Davenport; sister, Kristi Coltrane (Josh); 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends also survive.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., from Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, Georgia, with Rev. Ric Hurd officiating. There will be visitation and viewing held at Cochran Funeral Home before the service, beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting until 10 a.m. Pallbearers will include: Steve Nichols, Sam Nichols, Jimmy Nichols, Kevin Arnold, Kevin McBride, and Victor Nichols.
