Surviving are: daughter, Shelby Jean McHan Thomas, brother, Verlin Davis, grandson, Sam Queen, grandson, Stewart Queen, grandson, George Thomas, 8 great-grandchildren, 7-great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
she was preceded in death by spouse, Lonnie Prince Sowers, father, George M. Davis, mother, Minnie Dye, daughter, Joann McHan Queen, brother, Lawrence Davis, brother, Van Davis, brother, Earl Davis, brother, Warren Davis, brother, Jack Davis, sister, Verna Falls.
Friends will be received Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 6:00pm-9:00pm & Friday, August 21, 2009 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA.
Services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
