Vernon Donald Stoecker

Mr. Vernon Donald Stoecker, age 70 of Blue Ridge, passed away January 8, 2013 at his home. Mr. Stoecker was born July 12, 1942 in Richmond, MI to Raymond Stoecker and Luella Schwark Stoecker . He was a member of St Catherine of Laboure Catholic Church. He attended Ferris State College in Big Rapids, MI. He enjoyed a career as automotive Parts Production Control Manager and Purchasing Manager retiring from Dixie Numeric's Forrest Park, GA in 2004.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Fran Stoecker; daughters & sons-in-laws, Susan and Bobby Rowe of Monroe GA; Joi Stoecker and Allen Hwang of Brentwood, TN; a son, Rudy Stoecker of Lilburn,GA; five grandchildren, Cody, Deanna,and Matt Rowe, and Andrew, and Ella Hwang; sister, Judy Coyle of Milford MI and a deceased daughter, Rosita Stoecker .
Visitation will be at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, Hwy 5 (Blue Ridge Dr.) McCaysville, GA on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, Copperhill, TN on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery, Copperhill, TN.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to United Hospice of Blue Ridge, GA.
