Vondell Spivey Rice

Mrs. Vondell Spivey Rice, age 66 of Blue Ridge, passed away August 15, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Rice was born December 12, 1948 in Copperhill, TN to the late Van Spivey and the late Pauline Gaddis Spivey. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and Gideon's Aux. enjoyed working in her flowers traveling.

Survivors include: husband, Bethel Rice, daughter, Jennifer Miller, step daughter, Rachel Martin, stepsons, Mark Andrew Rice, sisters, Neoma Stanley and Josephine Millholland and, brother, Charles Spivey, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services: Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Hood officiating. Music provided by: Melissa Reece and Brenda Tims . Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Pallbearers: David Franklin, Jeff Stanley, Junior Taylor, Rodney Welch, Billy Joe Rice, Freddie Rice. Honorary pallbearers: Members of New Canaan Baptist Church, the Gideons and Gideons Auxillary.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, August 18, 2015, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
