Mrs. Wanda McClure Arrowood Woody, age 79 of Blairsville, GA, GA, passed away Friday, June 12 at her home.
Mrs. Woody was born in Clay, NC to the late Walter Marvin & Hester Alminey (Carter) McClure. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Hiawassee, GA. Mrs. Woody was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Vaughn Arrowood, brothers, Cline McClure, Frank McClure, and Earlie McClure, sisters, Lenoah Gibson and Nannie Lou Thompson,

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Homer & Carol Arrowood of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Danny & Millie Arrowood of Blairsville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Elaine & Charles Trulove of Blairsville, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Barry & Mary Woody of Baldwin, GA, son & daughter-in-law, Marvin & Cheryl Woody of Young Harris, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Tony Harwood of Blairsville, GA, 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Evan Hughes and Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Music will be provided by Merle Fortenberry and Rev. Evan Hughes. Interment will follow in Boyd?s Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Mitchell Foster, Jason Woody, Tayler Harkins, Jared Wright, Randy McClure and Derrick Arrowood. Honorary pallbearers include: Tony Harwood, Charlie Trulove, Robbie Patterson, Brian Chambers, Chick McClure and V. C. McClure.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Saturday, June 13, 2009 6:00 until 9:00 pm.
