Winston R. Stewart

Mr. Winston R. Stewart, age 84 of Morganton, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. Mr. Stewart was born September 29, 1928 in Morganton, GA to the late John and Myrtle Cochran Stewart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Ruby Moore Stewart, brothers, Johnny Stewart, and Arvil Stewart, sisters, Edith Hyde, Eddith Stewart, Reathel Barton, Marie Dykes and Willa Mae Johnson, also son-in-law, Michael Little.

Survivors include daughter, Sandra Little of Morganton, son, Troy (Pam) Stewart of Grafton, OH, son, Bill (Rosa) Morrison Sullivan, OH, son, Jewel (Teri) Morrison of Lorain, OH, brother, Norman (Pauline) Stewart of Morganton, brother, Harold (Lola) Stewart Chatsworth, GA, sister, Ethel Allen of Powder Springs, GA, sister, Effie Free of Morganton, sister, Esielee (JC) Watkins of Maryville, TN, sister, Glee Wright of Cleveland, TN, sister, Thelma (Bill) Davenport of Tifton, GA, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Hyatt officiating also speaking will be Winston's brother Norman Stewart. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Clint Stewart, Brandon Stewart, Craig Morrison, Curt Morrison, Clarence Wright, and Calvin Free.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
